ENTER THE VOID / FRONT END DESIGN
Approaching this project, I knew my audience would come from their love of the movie. Enter the Void (2009) is a psychedelic in and out of body DMT trip of a movie. I set out to recreate strong themes of overwhelming psychedelia and emptiness set by the movie. I used stills from the overly colorful movie and sandwiched them between a black void and another black void as a design element as a translation of the movie's major theme of life being a brief, chaotic, blur.
The opening title sequence was a huge inspiration for me to create this website design. Enter The Void's title sequence has burned a scar into my brain. The title sequence is a bright neon typographic overdose set to rapid fire. It might just be one my favorite opening title sequences for a film.
